12 years of experience working in the Quality and Patient Safety areas. My most recent experience has been as a Quality and Safety RN Specialist and prior to that I have worked as an Risk Manager in several Acute Care hospitals and as a Director in the Center for Women and Infants.
My most recent position had a primary focus is the peer review process. I worked with multiple departments to provide support and assist with the review of cases as they are identified and any follow up that may be required: i.e. cases that are identified as reportable to the BoRM. In addition, I collaborate with both Risk Management and Patient Relations, reviewing cases and providing clinical reviews as requested.
