Haley Friedler is in her final semester as an MPH student at the Boston University School of Public Health with concentrations in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Health Communication and Promotion. Prior to returning to school for her Masters, Haley worked in quality improvement as a Program Coordinator at Boston Children's Hospital. She has experience in project planning, implementation, and management, as well as metric development, data analysis, and marketing campaign development. Her primary area of interest is in the communication and visualization of data for both healthcare professionals and the general population. Last year, Haley served on the NEAHQ (then MAHQ) Board of Directors, working on both the Membership and Program Committees. This year, she is excited to return to the Board, co-chair the Membership Committee, chair the Website Development Subcommittee, and continue to work with the Program Committee. Gloria Stone Plottel, MS, MBA, CPHQ, CPXPis the Founder and CEO of GSPsquared LLC, a strategic healthcare consultancy that works to develop and implement strategies, policies, and infrastructure to improve performance in the areas of quality, experience, engagement, communications and population health. Ms. Plottelbrings two decades’ experience developing and implementing innovative programs that achieve goals. She serves on national and regional boards focused on quality and patient experience, and presents around the nation. Her clients include Partners HealthCare, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, AtriusHealth, MHQP, and others. Ms. Plottelhas an MBA from New York University, an MS from the State University of New York, a BA from Boston University, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Certified Patient Experience Professional.
Jennifer Fexis serves as the Vice President for Quality, Education and Ancillary Services in a pediatric specialty hospital located in the Brighton neighborhood. In this position, she is responsible for the overall organization and strategic direction for the organization’s quality and safety, special education, diagnostic and facilities teams. Her focus includes the development, implementation, and coordination of programs and initiatives that support an integrated approach to quality and safety across the organization. She serves as a resource to our leaders, and utilizes her considerable skill set to embed continuous improvement into the fabric of the organization, and ensure consistent compliance with accreditation and licensure regulations.
Jen brings to this position extensive experience as a quality professional in several settings including a multi-hospital system. Jen earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Studies from the Southern New Hampshire University and her Master of Science Degree in Business Administration - Project Management. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and serves as a board member for several not-for-profit organizations.
Shanika Wright is a Quality & Compliance Project Specialist for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. In this role, Shanika supports various quality and patient safety initiatives throughout the Network. Shanika earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Management & Policy from the University of New Hampshire, and Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health. Shanika’s background is in project management, data analytics, strategy, health care quality, & process improvement.
Lauren has been a healthcare quality improvement professional since 2011, and held multiple roles at Boston Children’s Hospital as a Quality Improvement Coordinator, Data Analyst, and Consultant. Lauren recently accepted a new position as a Senior Project Manager in Population Health Management at Tufts Health Plan, where she will continue to use QI methodology to implement and improve population health management strategies. Lauren received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and completed a Master of Public Health at Boston University. This is Lauren’s first year serving on the NEAHQ Board, and she looks forward to co-chairing the Program Committee. Lauren lives in Newton, MA with her husband and their dog!

On the Board of Directors of the New England Association for Healthcare Quality (NEAHQ) since 2006. Qualified instructor for Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) examination preparation courses. Prior experience in critical care, nursing management, case management, risk management and quality management in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
