When an organization has a true culture of safety, all other regulatory and compliance improvements follow, not only adopting a culture of safety, but actually demonstrating one. This presentation will bring in evidence‐based practices based on theory that connects organizational excellence to the role of establishing a shared mental model that promotes a learning environment and brings teams to understanding the importance of a growth mindset. These include human factors‐ system thinking and design (standardization and craft), learning organization (control versus learning), and growth mindset (fixed or growth).
