While communication seems simple – it’s something everyone has been doing since they were born – communicating to colleagues and patients and family members in a high stress, high stakes work environment is a different level of communication. Attaining high reliability in healthcare demands communication that is precise, succinct, and understood.

Gloria Stone Plottel, MS, MBA, CPHQ, CPXP is the Founder and CEO of GSPsquared LLC a consultancy focused on helping healthcare organizations improve care delivery and manage change. She has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and degrees from the State University of New York and Boston University.
