Do you ever struggle with healthcare performance improvement projects turning into eternal committee meetings that feel like all talk and no action? Let’s look at key ways that we can increase the reliability of projects to consistently be completed as projects by ensuring the accountability of all people involved. We will consider roles, responsibilities, requirements, and report outs.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Participants will be able to describe ways to improve reliability of improvement projects.
  2. Participants will be able to complete a report out tool.

SPEAKER:

Patrick Schultz, MS RN CPHQ ACNS-BC  |  Director of Quality, Banner Thunderbird Medial Center

Patrick Schultz is a Clinical Nurse Specialist that moved into the quality and safety realm in 2012 and hasn’t left it. He has had a variety of prior roles from Quality Improvement Specialist, Quality Director, Lead Clinical Standardization Administrator, and Chief Nursing Officer.
